Student Opportunities
Our Approach to student Development
We believe you must grow to give, so we strive to design and facilitate learning opportunities that help passionate students better serve their communities as socially-minded leaders. Through workshops, community events, and personalized mentorship, we offer opportunities to both SOURCE consultants and Claremont McKenna College students at-large. We hope to embody the CMC mission and emphasis on practical leadership by encouraging students to take ownership of their individual growth and use it to lead meaningful change in their communities.

CASE COMPETITIONS
Have a group of friends or fellow students that enjoys solving problems? Passionate about helping the local community? The SOURCE Case Competition is a fantastic way to put your critical thinking and creativity to the test while helping a local nonprofit organization! For each competition, SOURCE brings in one of nonprofit partners facing an important challenge, and then student teams compete to offer the best recommendations and solutions to the nonprofit. While our winning student group will receive a money prize, all students have the opportunity to sharpen their skills and help the local community. Stay tuned for information about our next competition!
